This patient had this premolar with a large silver filling that wrapped around the palatal side of the tooth. This tooth had a dark discoloration because of the size of the filling.

Not quite in need of a full coverage crown, a porcelain onlay was placed and bonded to the tooth structure, creating a very durable and aesthetic result, while preserving the intact enamel.
